Travel Day 3: Denver to South Dakota

Third day on the road, and we are excited to get to South Dakota. We drove through a lot of Wyoming that had rolling hills and lots of ranch land with cattle. Surprisingly, we also saw some camels and and lots of pronghorns. We ate lunch in the car again so we could get to our cabin before dinner time.

We rented a cabin in Rockerville, SD called the Rockerville Lodge and Cabins. It was a great little cabin with two rooms and a loft for the kids to sleep in. It also had a kitchen and small living space. The TV came fully equipped with an Atari emulator for the kids to play. Outside there was plenty of space to roam, a playset for the kids and firepits. It will be just what we need.

For dinner we really didn’t want to get back in the car so we walked across the street to eat at the Gaslight Grill and Saloon. Ready for bed and a full day exploring tomorrow.
